About
Petrobras is Brazil's government-controlled integrated energy company with significant upstream operations focused on offshore oil and natural gas exploration and production. In 2024, the company produced 2.7 million barrels of oil equivalent daily (80% crude oil) and maintained proven reserves of 11.4 billion BOE (85% crude oil). Petrobras operates 10 refineries with 1.8 million barrels per day capacity and distributes refined products and natural gas throughout Brazil.
