Boise Cascade manufactures engineered wood products and plywood while distributing a comprehensive range of building materials to the construction industry. The company operates through two segments: Wood Products, which manufactures laminated veneer lumber, I-joists, laminated beams, and plywood; and Building Materials Distribution, which supplies lumber, engineered products, plywood, and complementary materials like siding, decking, roofing, and insulation. The Building Materials Distribution segment generates the majority of revenue, making it the company's primary profit driver.
