About
Dick's Sporting Goods is an omnichannel sports and outdoor retailer operating across North America, Asia-Pacific, and EMEA. The company maintains over 700 Dick's branded stores and specialty locations including Golf Galaxy and outlet stores. Following its September 2025 acquisition of Foot Locker, Dick's controls approximately 2,600 additional stores under Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Champs Sports, atmos, and WSS, establishing itself as a dominant multi-brand retailer. Founded in 1948 and headquartered in Pittsburgh, the company is controlled by executive chair Edward Stack.
