About
Solid Power develops solid-state batteries using a proprietary sulfide-based solid electrolyte, which replaces the liquid electrolyte found in traditional lithium-ion cells. The company manufactures and supplies these electrolytes to automotive and battery manufacturers adopting solid-state battery technology. Solid-state batteries offer higher energy density and improved safety compared to conventional lithium-ion alternatives.
