Petrobras is a government-controlled Brazilian integrated energy company specializing in offshore oil and gas exploration and production. In 2024, the company produced 2.7 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (80% oil) and maintained reserves of 11.4 billion boe. Petrobras operates 10 refineries in Brazil with a combined capacity of 1.8 million barrels per day and distributes refined products and natural gas nationwide.
