Banco Bradesco is Brazil's second-largest private bank with approximately 10-15% of deposits and the nation's leading insurance provider with roughly 20-25% market share. The company also operates as a major asset manager with high single-digit market share and is controlled by the Bradesco Foundation, a private nonprofit focused on education. Bradesco strengthened its market position with the 2016 acquisition of HSBC's Brazilian operations.
