EchoStar is a diversified media and telecommunications company with three primary business segments: satellite television serving approximately 5 million customers, prepaid wireless services under the Boost brand with 7 million customers (acquired from Sprint), and legacy satellite and terrestrial services including broadband to ~700,000 customers. The company also operates Sling, a streaming platform with 2 million subscribers, and holds significant spectrum assets. Recently, EchoStar agreed to sell wireless licenses to AT&T and SpaceX while establishing a network agreement with AT&T to serve its wireless customer base.
